Boundary Waters Bear Hunt (Zones 22 & 25) This is a eight day Boundary Waters Wilderness Deluxe Tent Camp. Within the remote areas of the Boundary Waters, we locate your camp where you will be closest to the best hunting and fishing areas. With Wild black bears in the area, as well as excellent smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing right from camp, our guide can put you directly in front of the bears and right on the fish. With no roads leading to the Boundary Waters, we utilize both motorboats and canoes. Each method of travel will put you deep into the heart of the wilderness where the bears are virtually untouched by humans.


2007 guided canoe trip in the Boundary Waters This GUIDED HUNT gives you the advantage of having a full-time knowledgeable guide in camp with you during your hunt. Along with showing you pre-scouted stand sites and setups, our guides can also take care of camp chores allowing you more time to hunt, fish and enjoy your wilderness experience. In addition to providing you with your highest percentage chance of taking an animal, our guides help with the care and transport of the animal for processing.

FISHING in the Boundary Waters is considered by some outdoor writers as some of the best smallmouth bass and walleye lakes in all of Minnesota and Canada. The Boundary Waters holds records for walleye, northern pike, and lake trout. It also offers some of the best bluegill and black crappie fishing to be had in the BWCAW.WE FURNISH EVERYTHING. All you need to bring is your hunting and fishing equipment, clothes, and other personal articles.
EACH CAMP can accommodate up to 9 people, including the guide. Equipped with specially constructed, spacious sleeping tents, with heavy duty folding cots, thick mattresses, full width sleeping bags, pillows and Coleman lanterns. Also included a full screened-in kitchen tent with storm flaps, cooking stove, table and chairs, portable showers, all cooking and eating ware, plus much more.
WE OFFER the best accommodations, service, equipment & food on the lake. You will have all the comforts of home. Each camp is completely remote from any other campsite to insure you complete privacy. Although we cannot promise you a specific site, we generally locate your camp where you will be closest to the best hunting areas. Our staff will go with you, along with your guide, to set up your camp and upon completion of the hunt, come and take your camp down. We do all the work - you simply Hunt, Relax and Enjoy.
FOOD is the best in the northwoods — Check out the super menu! Coolers are provided to help keep the food fresh throughout the duration of your hunt. A food menu will be sent upon reservation.
ALUMINUM BOATS are 16 foot Lunds or Alumacrafts. They are big, deep and wide and will provide you with maximum comfort and safety. Each boat comes with oars, anchor, seat cushions, landing nets and new Mercury motors.
EARLY RESERVATIONS ARE ADVISED There are only so many camping permits available for the area… so call… today!! You may start your trip any day of the week. REFUND POLICY: Refunds of deposits, less a $75.00 reservation administration fee, will be honored on cancellation received 30 days prior to the start of your trip or the entire deposit may be credited to a future trip. PAYMENT POLICY: We are pleased to accept cash, travelers checks, Discover, Master or VISA cards or personal check. When payment is by check we also require you to provide a Master or VISA card number. All rates are subject to applicable taxes.
EMERGENCY AT HOME: We’ll have your campsite on record so we can find you in the wilderness by seaplane, boat or thru the proper government officials. FOREST SERVICE REGULATIONS: The area requires a travel permit. The purpose of travel permits is to protect the water quality and other resources of this wilderness area, and to assure users of a high quality wilderness experience. Because of a limited number of permits available, we suggest early reservations. Permit applications will begin to be processed in December via the mail. Each permit is valid for up to 9 people, with a limit of 4 watercraft at one campsite.You must enter the BWCAW at the entry point and on the date shown on your permit. Your food supplies must contain no cans or bottles. Dogs are permitted. A complete set of rules are located on your permit that you will receive prior to entering the park.
BWCA FEES: The reservation fee is $12, plus an $8 acquisition fee, covering up to 9 people for your entire trip. In addition to the reservation fee, the Forest Service requires two adult camping fees be collected at the time the permit reservation is made ($32). You will have to provide us with a credit card number to which these fees will be charged, and we will forward the number to the Forest Service issuing office. The remainder of the camping fees for your group will be charged to your card upon your arrival. Fees are $16 per adult per trip, $8 for youth under age 17 and for Golden Age or Golden Access Passport Holders. For those planning multiple trips into the BWCAW there is a seasonal pass being offered at a cost of $64 per adult and $42 per youth under age 17 and for Golden Age or Golden Access Passport Holders.
